Getting There

The Ryde Aikido Dojo is conveniently located in the heart of West Ryde and is accessible by car, bus, train and ferry from all directions.

By Car

The dojo is only a short drive from Gladesville, Putney, and Top Ryde to the East; Meadowbank, Rhodes and Concord to the South; Eastwood, Epping and North Ryde to the North, and Ermington, Rydalmere and Parramatta to the West.

Parking is available in the side streets opposite near McDonalds and the Shell garage.

By Train

West Ryde Railways Station is on the Northern Line between Strathfield and Epping (the T1 line on City Rail maps) and is a main stop for most trains on this line. Click here for a link to the Northern Line Rail Timetable.

The dojo is 5 minutes walk from West Ryde train station west along Victoria Road.

By Bus

There are lots of options for travelling to the dojo by bus. The 520 bus and the M52 Metro Bus run along Victoria Road from the City to Parramatta and stop almost right outside the dojo on either side of the road.

The 501 from the City stops at West Ryde Railway station. Cross the line and walk the short distance west to the dojo.

The 513 runs from Carlingford to Meadowbank Wharf passing the dojo, and the 543 will take you from Eastwood to West Ryde train station.

By Ferry

The Parramatta River Ferry Service stops at Meadowbank wharf.  Click here for a link to the Ferry timetable.

From the ferry it is about a 20 minute walk north to the dojo, or you can catch the 513 bus service to Victoria Rd West Ryde.
