Farewell keiko for Simon tomorrow

A reminder that this Saturdays’ keiko at Balmian will be Simons last before he and Rina move to Melbourne. Simon has been a very solid supporter of Ryde dojo, often rearranging his own arrangements to teach classes when needed. He will be surely missed at both Ryde and Balmain dojos. Please try to come along and wish them all the best for their move. There will be, of course, post-keiko brunch, probably at Simons place in Ashfield. If you can stick around and give an hour or so of your tie it will be appreciated.

Hope to see you there! 🙂

Movement Workshop with Donna Eddy – Balmain dojo

Donna Eddy is coming back again to Balmain dojo to run a third workshop on posture and movement. Donna has run two previous workshops focussing on hips/ psoas and shoulder movement. She will recap some of the previous exercises plus will be adding some new exercises.

Being able to conciously relax and move all parts our body is critical in our Aikido training, and to prevent ourselves from injury. Both of Donna’s previous two worksops were extremely valuable and I would strongly recommend this event. Details are as follows:

When: Saturday 29th March 2014.

Location: Aikido Kenkyukai, Balmain PCYC, Darling St Balmain

Time: 8:00 ~ 10:00am

Cost: $15 for Kenkyukai students. $20 for outsiders

Dress: dogi or casual training clothes.

Contact: Stephen 0414 376 912 or aikidosydney@hotmail.com
