8th Annual Blue Mountains Aikido Retreat now open!

2013-Blue-Mountains-Aikido-RetreatAikido Sydney City are pleased to announce that registration for the 8th annual Blue Mountains Aikido Retreat is now open!

This is a very special and unique opportunity for Australian Aikidoka to experience a traditional Japanese-style gasshuku where students live, eat and train together over several days in a beautiful native bushland setting. The camp takes place in a secluded retreat centre with its own dedicated dojo space, log fireplace, and a choice of dormitory-style accommodation or converted 1920s train carriages. Indoor and outdoor training in empty-handed and weapons-based Aikido practice is complemented with rejuvenating workshops in Shiatsu Massage and Japanese Oki Yoga. It’s always a magical and uplifting weekend, and students of any level are very welcome!
